TODAY WE DID A BENCHMARK WORKOUT...THESE BENCHMARK WORKOUTS ARE GREAT BECAUSE IF YOU KEEP TRACK OF THEM THEY WILL GIVE YOU INSTANT FEEDBACK AS TO WHETHER YOU ARE IMPROVING OR NOT...

3 ROUNDS FOR TIME 21-15-9

HANDSTAND PUSH UPS

IF YOU ARE NOT FAMILIAR WITH THE 21-15-9 FORMAT HERE IS HOW IT WORKS. THE FIRST ROUND YOU DO 21 REPS OF BOTH EXERCISES, SECOND ROUND YOU DO 15 REPS OF BOTH, AND THE THIRD ROUND YOU DO 9 REPS OF BOTH. THERE IS NO BREAKS BETWEEN THE ROUNDS, YOU ARE GOING FOR A TIME TOTAL OF THE THREE ROUNDS.

EVEN THOUGH THIS IS A BENCHMARK WORKOUT, PLEASE REMEMBER TO SCALE THE WEIGHT AND PUSH UPS TO YOUR FITNESS LEVEL.

BELOW IS THE VIDEO OF ME ACTUALLY DOING THIS WORKOUT. I FINISHED IN 8:58 MINUTES. THE DEADLIFTS GOT HEAVY TOWARDS THE END. ANOTHER GREAT THING ABOUT RECORDING YOUR WORKOUTS IS THAT YOU CAN SEE WHERE YOU NEED IMPROVEMENT. I CAN SEE THAT I NEED A LITTLE MORE DEPTH IN MY HANDSTAND PUSH UPS.
