SOMETIMES WHEN PEOPLE THINK OF FUNCTIONAL TRAINING, THEY PICTURE ALL THESE WEIRD MOVEMENTS. THE TRUTH IS THAT SOME OF THE BEST FUNCTIONAL TRAINING IS DONE WITH THE SIMPLEST OF MOVEMENTS. 

IF DONE CORRECTLY, WITH THE RIGHT INTENSITY AND WEIGHT, THESE MOVEMENTS WILL GIVE ONE OF THE BEST TOTAL BODY WORKOUTS!!

TAKE TODAY'S WOD FOR INSTANCE...3 MOVEMENTS THAT DUPLICATE FUNCTIONS OF EVERYDAY LIFE. HOW MANY TIMES DO YOU PUSH A DOOR OPEN? HOW MANY TIMES DO YOU PICK UP SOMETHING INTO YOUR ARMS? HOW MANY TIMES DO YOU SQUAT DOWN TO PICK SOMETHING UP OR PUT SOMETHING DOWN?

THE ANSWER TO THESE QUESTIONS IS PROBABLY MORE THEN YOU CAN COUNT. SO THIS IS WHY TRAINING IN THIS FASHION IS SO IMPORTANT, BECAUSE IT IS HOW WE FUNCTION ON A DAY TO DAY BASIS, NO MATTER WHETHER YOU ARE HOME OR WORK. THE HUMAN BODY IS DESIGNED TO BE USED AS A WHOLE, NOT ISOLATED PARTS. SO WHY WOULD YOU TRAIN IT TO DO SO? I DON'T KNOW EITHER....

REST 1 MINUTE AFTER ROUND AND REPEAT PROCESS 4 MORE TIMES..KEEP TRACKS OF HOW MANY ROUNDS YOU COMPLETE IN EACH 3 MINUTE AMRAP. SCORE WILL BE TOTAL NUMBER OF COMPLETED ROUNDS + REPS

WEIGHT WE USED TODAY VARIED FROM 115#, 75#, AND 60#..FIND THE CORRECT WEIGHT FOR YOU!!
