10/01/2012 WOD

TODAY IS THE FIRST DAY OF OCTOBER AND FOR MOST OF THE PEOPLE IN THE AREA WHERE WE LIVE, THE COOLER WEATHER IS A WELCOME. OF COURSE WE HAVE HAD TO WAIT 10 MONTHS FOR OUR FIRST COOL FRONT BUT HEY BETTER LATE THEN NEVER...

SO NOW ON TO TODAY'S WORKOUT...IT IS A CHIPPER STYLE THE WILL TEST EVERY PART OF YOUR BODY. NOW DOING THIS ONE THE DAY AFTER DOING THE "3SOME" WOD, WAS BRUTAL...

THE NAME OF TODAY'S WOD IS "LANGVARDT"...
 On Sept. 28, 1992 Engineer Mark Langvardt of the Denver Fire Department became trapped while preforming a search in a commercial building after the floor collapsed. Fellow firefighters attempted numerous rescues but were unsuccessful.  Many lessons were learned from this fatal incident that will hopefully prevent other firefighters from becoming trapped like Mark.
